Ace Henderson’s AY:YO Has That [Ace]thetic You’ll Like.

ANALOGUE YOUTH : YESTERDAY IS OVER.

November 1st Ace Henderson took to the internet to share with us his long anticipated album titled ANALOGUE YOUTH:YESTERDAY IS OVER [AY:YO]. We first talked to him about the project back this July in our first ever interview with him. Here we are creeping up on Thanksgiving and we have the Album. What he DID tell us then was that the name of the project was “Tentatively ‘AYYO’; standing for 'Analogue Youth Yesterday Is Over’.” and a little bit about the direction he was taking. What he DIDN’T tell us was that he was planning to bestow on us a well appointed release delving into multiple mediums. If you have not yet checked the project out yet, we are here to help make sure you don’t miss any part of this.

FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE.

The best way (as it is set-up) to experience AY:YO is to simply go to the website, ace-henderson.com. From there allow yourself to be taken on a visual excursion first with a series of stills, followed by his press interview artfully crafted by local cinematographer Ayinde Anderson, and lastly but not least-ly the music itself with notable feature from local talent in the form of Niya Wells.

CONTENT.

This is an album we see getting chalked up as a part of the true rise of Ace as an artist. It’s truly a project full of ‘Bangers’ and not in some basic mainstream Urban Dictionary strand of the word's meaning. We mean that in the literal sense of the word -- bass heavy, moving.

Ace does a great job at not sacrificing his message for a catchy or enticing gimmick -- finding the balance between the two is the key to the success behind this album. Follow along with Ace as he converses with us on the reality of relationships, the double sided coin of popularity, and more.

There is no media on this page on purpose. Take yourself over to ace-henderson.com.
